Diane Fauth is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in individual, couples, group, and family therapy with a specialization in relationship issues and the substance abuse/process addictions.  She maintains a private practice in the Cultural Arts District in Rochester, NY - Park Ave/East Ave/University area

Ms. Fauth is trained as an IFS therapist (Internal Family Systems ) and provides counseling based upon Dr. Richard Schwartz' evidence-based theory and practice.  IFS recognizes the complexity of the human system, is grounded in neuroscience, and has been a form of therapy that is extremely helpful for clients both in and out of the therapy room.  Check out the Center for Self-Leadership for literature and the IFS website for articles, videos, and additional information on the efficacy of IFS therapy.

With over 15 years experience as a mental health and addictions therapist and as a graduate of SUNY Brockport, Ms. Fauth provides a customized, person-centered approach to counseling.  She is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.  Her areas of expertise include recovery from "life" issues (for everyone and anyone), relationship issues, anxiety,0 ADHD (adults and adolescents), depression, and addictions .

In addition to her work as a private practitioner, Ms. Fauth has presented at national counseling conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of reaching highly troubled/resistant adolescents and co-occurring disorders in both youth and adults.

Ms. Fauth is an interactive, person-centered therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide insight, along with reflective feedback, to assist clients in effectively facing and processing perplexing life issues. She offers a highly personalized approach that is customized to each client's needs. With empathy, compassion, and authenticity she works with individuals to build on their unique strengths in order to facilitate the discovery and the attainment of the personal growth they are longing to achieve.
